About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and supporting enterprise strategy development and strategic planning processes. The Senior Manager will identify, scope, and assess new strategic opportunities, conduct financial and performance analyses, and manage OKR governance and strategy execution. This position requires developing executive-ready materials, supporting strategic initiatives, and strengthening the strategy execution infrastructure. The role also involves performing other duties as assigned and complying with company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, life sciences, finance, economics, operations, strategy, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, strategy execution, business operations, transformation, consulting, finance, analytics, program management, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting strategy development, enterprise strategic planning, OKR, KPI, roadmap, performance management, business review, or portfolio prioritization processes in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience conducting financial analysis, business case development, opportunity sizing, market assessment, operating model analysis, performance analysis, or investment evaluation to support strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex workstreams, manage competing priorities, drive alignment across stakeholders, and move initiatives from opportunity identification and scoping through planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including ability to assess financial and performance data, identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready materials for senior leaders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel; comfort working with financial models, performance reporting, dashboards, and project or execution management tools.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, life sciences, finance, economics, data analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, genomics, laboratory operations, or a regulated life sciences environment.
  • Experience assessing strategic growth opportunities, partnerships, product or service expansion, market opportunities, operational improvement initiatives, or enterprise investment priorities.
  • Experience using WorkBoard, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or similar tools to support strategic planning, financial and performance reporting, analytics, and execution management.
  • Training or certification in project management, change management, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile, OKR methodology, data visualization, financial modeling, or business intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support enterprise strategy development and strategic planning processes, including annual and quarterly planning cycles, leadership alignment routines, enterprise roadmap development, and translation of strategic priorities into actionable plans.
  • Identify, scope, and assess new strategic opportunities by framing business questions, defining workplans, evaluating market and internal dynamics, sizing potential value, and developing recommendations for leadership consideration.
  • Conduct financial, commercial, operational, and performance analyses to support strategic decisions, business cases, investment prioritization, opportunity assessment, and enterprise performance management.
  • Manage OKR governance and strategy execution cadence by partnering with leaders to define objectives, measurable key results, owners, milestones, dependencies, and progress tracking routines.
  • Monitor performance against enterprise priorities, OKRs, KPIs, and strategic initiatives; identify risks, blockers, interdependencies, financial implications, and decision points requiring leadership attention.
  • Develop executive-ready updates, presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, business cases, and decision-support analyses that synthesize complex information into clear insights, implications, options, and recommended actions.
  • Support priority strategic initiatives and special projects by defining scope, objectives, workplans, analyses, stakeholder engagement plans, success measures, and execution milestones.
  • Strengthen strategy execution infrastructure, including metric definitions, reporting standards, documentation practices, operating rhythms, and continuous improvement of planning and accountability processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
