About The Position

The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing serves as the execution lead for consumer marketing, partnering with internal stakeholders and agency partners to bring consumer strategy to life across digital and omnichannel experiences. The Senior Manager will oversee execution of consumer campaigns, manage agency partners, lead promotional review for consumer materials, and continuously optimize performance through data and analytics. Reporting to the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing, this role partners closely with the Director, Consumer Marketing and sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. The Senior Manager ensures that consumer campaign timelines stay on track, that owned digital channels perform and remain compliant, that every promotional asset moves efficiently through the MLR process, and that performance data is translated into actionable insights for the team. The ideal candidate is an operationally fluent pharmaceutical marketing professional with hands-on experience in website management, MLR/PRC processes, campaign project management, and digital analytics. A highly detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a launch-stage environment and can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of quality or compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience, with a focus on omnichannel marketing, or digital marketing experience.
  • Experience leading promotional review, and hands-on experience managing pharmaceutical MLR/PRC submissions and working within Veeva PromoMats or an equivalent promotional asset management system.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external agency partners.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing integrated, multi-vendor campaign timelines in a regulated industry.
  • Experience measuring and optimizing omnichannel campaigns.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD) preferred.
  • Experience supporting a specialty or rare disease product launch, particularly in a pre-commercial or launch-stage biopharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for consumer agency partners, including media, digital, CRM, analytics, creative, and web agencies.
  • Translate consumer marketing strategy into actionable agency briefs and integrated execution plans.
  • Lead weekly agency status meetings, ensuring priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables remain aligned.
  • Partner with agencies to recommend campaign optimizations based on performance data and evolving business priorities.
  • Hold agency partners accountable for executional excellence, proactive thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the business owner for the Viaskin Peanut consumer digital ecosystem, overseeing the strategy, launch, governance, and ongoing optimization of the patient website and other owned consumer channels in partnership with agency partners.
  • Own digital content governance across consumer channels, ensuring timely publication, regulatory compliance, content lifecycle management, and alignment with evolving brand priorities.
  • Ensure brand and messaging consistency across all owned digital channels, including the website, email programs, CRM-driven touchpoints, and patient portal experiences, working closely with agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Partner with media and digital agencies to execute and optimize consumer digital campaigns across search, social, display, CRM, and other owned and paid channels, using performance insights to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure consumer-facing digital assets remain current, compliant, and readily available across platforms, maintaining strong governance, version control, and alignment with promotional review requirements.
  • Serve as the Consumer Marketing lead for promotional review, ensuring all consumer-facing materials enter and move through the PRC/MLR review cycle on schedule.
  • Partner closely with the consumer marketing team and agency partners to prepare MLR submission packages, managing annotation, reference documentation, and routing within Veeva PromoMats.
  • Maintain the consumer promotional asset library within PromoMats, ensuring version control integrity, accurate expiration tracking, and proper archiving of superseded materials.
  • Build and manage the PRC submission calendar, coordinating across agencies, internal reviewers, and the PRC Coordinator to ensure timely review cycles aligned with campaign go-live dates.
  • Track cycle times, revision rounds, and approval rates across all consumer submissions; identify patterns and work proactively with agency partners to improve first-pass approval rates.
  • Ensure all promotional activities, digital content, and paid media programs comply with FDA promotional guidelines, PhRMA Code, and DBV internal compliance standards.
  • Own and manage the master consumer marketing campaign timeline, coordinating across creative agencies, digital vendors, media buying partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless, on-time campaign execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for all consumer marketing initiatives, from disease awareness programs and paid media campaigns to patient support materials and advocacy activations.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between the consumer marketing team and external agency partners, running weekly status meetings, tracking deliverables, and escalating risks proactively.
  • Manage the campaign asset trafficking process, ensuring approved creative assets are delivered to the correct media placements, platforms, and channels with accurate tagging and specifications.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with HCP Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial Operations to align consumer campaign timing with broader brand milestones, field force readiness, and payer access timelines.
  • Support launch readiness planning by identifying operational dependencies, building launch-specific project plans, and ensuring consumer marketing deliverables are completed against launch milestones.
  • Use campaign performance to optimize investment, messaging, audience targeting, and channel mix.
  • Develop dashboards and synthesize campaign insights into actionable recommendations for the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing and broader marketing leadership team.
  • Analyze consumer channel performance data to identify trends, surface optimization opportunities, and make evidence-based recommendations for budget reallocation or tactical adjustments.
  • Establish and monitor A/B testing frameworks across digital touchpoints to continuously improve creative performance, landing page conversion, and media targeting effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Commercial Data Strategy team to ensure consumer marketing data is integrated into enterprise reporting tools and accessible across commercial stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitive digital presence and consumer sentiment, providing the Senior Director with timely intelligence on competitor consumer programs and category benchmarks.
  • Manage the consumer marketing operational budget, tracking spend against plan, processing purchase orders and invoices, and providing monthly financial reconciliation reporting to the Senior Director.
  • Manage day-to-day agency and vendor relationships for digital, media, and operational partners, serving as the primary contact for status tracking, deliverable management, and issue resolution.
  • Model and enforce full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, FDA guidelines, PhRMA Code, and company policies across all commercial functions and team members.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation across Veeva/PromoMats, maintaining audit-ready asset records and submission logs for all consumer marketing programs.
  • Complete all required training, certifications, and compliance modules in accordance with company timelines.
