About The Position

We are searching for the best talent to join our team as the Senior Manager, Commercial Communications, Electrophysiology. This will be a hybrid role based in our Irvine, CA office. Position Summary As the Senior Manager, Commercial Communications, you will help create and implement communication strategies and integrated PR programs that support U.S. Electrophysiology business objectives and commercial priorities, focusing on in-market and launch-stage products and platforms. This position works closely with U.S. and Global Commercial Marketing and Professional Education teams to deliver impactful product and platform communications and PR programs with trade and consumer media, reaching electrophysiologists and patients in the U.S. The role reports to the Senior Director, Electrophysiology Communications & Public Affairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in communications, brand or marketing roles.
  • Experience leading branded communications, media engagement, issues management, and successful product launches.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, and technical concepts into clear, compelling communications.
  • Experience counseling senior leaders on business opportunities, communications objectives, strategy and messaging.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience collaborating across complex organizations and managing multiple partners.
  • Proven ability to develop integrated communications strategies that drive business and reputation outcomes.
  • Passion for science, innovation, and improving patient outcomes through communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cardiovascular, electrophysiology, medical device, or broader MedTech environments.
  • Experience managing agency and external communications partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing and cross-functional teams to develop communications strategies that advance product and platform launches, support commercial priorities and drive disease awareness.
  • Serve as a trusted communications counselor to commercial leaders, helping translate business priorities into clear, compelling communications strategies.
  • Collaborate across enterprise, sector, regional, and internal communications teams to enhance reach, alignment, and business impact.
  • Partner closely with Senior Manager, Pipeline & Platform Communications, to amplify a clear, impactful and consistent Electrophysiology narrative.
  • Embed Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in communications priorities, counsel, and decision-making.
  • Lead communications strategies that support commercial priorities and growth objectives for in-market and launch-stage electrophysiology products and platforms.
  • Translate product, platform, clinical, and competitive insights into clear, compelling multi-channel narratives for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop engaging commercial communications content, including messaging, executive presentations, media materials, digital and social content, videos, and launch communications.
  • Support communications surrounding regulatory milestones and product launches, data releases for in-market products, presence at U.S. medical meetings, market education initiatives, and disease awareness campaigns.
  • Enhance and protect the Company’s reputation by anticipating and managing issues in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Help position Johnson & Johnson MedTech and its electrophysiology leaders as trusted voices driving the future of cardiovascular care.
