About The Position

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development for the NA Marketing Services team. This role is responsible for leading the development of high-quality RFP responses, pitch materials, and client-facing marketing content that supports business growth across North America. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in shaping business development strategy for key opportunities, while providing guidance and informal leadership to junior team members and cross-functional contributors. This role partners closely with client leads, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to deliver compelling, insight-driven materials that position Visa as a strategic partner.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8–10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, consulting, or related fields
  • Strong experience developing RFP responses, pitch materials, and strategic presentations
  • Proven ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills

  • Experience in payments, financial services, or client-facing marketing environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality, on-time RFP and pitch materials
  • Provide direction, coaching, and feedback to junior team members contributing to projects
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Consulting teams to gather inputs and align on client strategy
  • Serve as a key point of coordination across stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality
