About The Position

Intapp is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Advocacy and References to build brand authority and support pipeline growth by creating, maintaining, and scaling client advocacy infrastructure. The role owns Intapp’s enterprise client reference program and the broader advocacy program behind it, enabling sales, marketing, and other teams to engage client advocates consistently while avoiding overburdening them. The position establishes and maintains the advocacy operating model, including governance, participation standards, workflows, advocate engagement, platform administration, and reporting. It coordinates reference fulfillment and client participation across the business, develops the advocate population, and provides leadership with clear visibility into program health and outcomes. The role works cross-functionally with sales, customer success, marketing, events, and account teams in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience, including demonstrated ability to build and manage program infrastructure such as intake processes, reference tracking systems, participation frameworks, and reporting cadences.
  • Experience working across go-to-market functions, including sales, customer success, and marketing, and coordinating shared workflows in a matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with reference management platforms or CRM-based tracking tools.
  • Strong program management skills, including identifying process breakdowns, designing solutions, and gaining adoption.
  • Ability to build trust with client-facing teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to work across organizational levels, including with senior leadership, and diplomatically drive alignment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain program value to both sales representatives and senior leaders.
  • Organized and systematic approach, with reliable follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build structure in an environment that does not yet have it.

  • Lead rollout and ongoing management of the advocacy platform as the system of record for reference fulfillment and advocate engagement, including configuration, user enablement, and adoption.
  • Create and oversee reference fulfillment processes for sales, analyst relations, and other teams, matching requests with appropriate advocates efficiently and avoiding excessive demands on individual clients.
  • Grow the advocate population by creating automations to identify potential advocates and collaborating with client success and account teams, using indicators such as NPS and CSAT data.
  • Monitor participation and engagement to identify gaps and maintain a healthy, balanced, representative advocate pool.
