About The Position

This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit. The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for translating brand strategies into effective customer and channel activation plans that drive growth, market share, and customer engagement. This role serves as the key connection between the Brand Team and Customer-specific Sales Teams, ensuring marketing programs are tailored to the unique needs of each retail environment while maintaining brand consistency. The role will be aligned to a specific channel segment (e.g., Home Center or Traditional Trade) to execute channel-specific marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, customer marketing, shopper marketing, brand marketing, sales support, or related roles.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with retail customers or consumer products.
  • Understanding of shopper marketing or customer activation principles.
  • Experience analyzing promotional performance and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of channel-specific marketing strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Adapt national brand campaigns and initiatives for assigned channel customers.
  • Identify channel-specific opportunities to enhance shopper engagement and customer growth.
  • Partner with Sales teams to support customer presentations, promotional plans, and activation opportunities.
  • Serve as a primary marketing contact for assigned channel teams.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing to ensure consistency in messaging and execution.
  • Work closely with Brand, Sales, Category Management, Creative Services, and external agencies to deliver activation plans.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to inform future marketing strategies.
