About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Celebrity Partnerships to join our team here in NYC. This person will be an important member of the team driving celebrity strategy and partnerships for some of our largest global brands, and play an essential role in the continued success and management of key relationships. The Celebrity + Creator Marketing department acts as a liaison between brands and the actors, musicians, athletes, artists, celebrity personalities and creators who are shaping pop culture and entertainment, or on the cusp of doing so. We develop and execute bespoke talent-driven plans for our clients to amplify the impact of their advertising, marketing and communications campaigns.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of agency (buyer) or in-house celebrity talent-related experience required.
  • Detailed experience in talent contract negotiation.
  • Deep, trusted relationships with talent, as well as agents and managers at all top and mid-level agencies and firms representing actors, musicians, athletes and more.
  • Ethical and discrete with sensitive information.
  • Consumer of all things pop culture, able to educate colleagues and clients about happenings and talent profiles across a mix of film, TV, music, sports, etc.
  • Understanding of SAG.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally (has current and valid passport).
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Conversational level of French is a plus.
  • Prior experience or understanding of the beauty industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide custom talent casting ideas for our clients based on their strategic business goals, target audience(s) and budget.
  • Contribute to, as needed, presentations/decks for clients and talent.
  • Negotiate firm offers/term sheets and contracts in partnership with Omnicom Legal, outside counsel and/or client internal Legal.
  • Manage agency/client relationships with contracted celebrity talent to ensure timely and accurate completion of their SOW, including but not limited to shoots (advertising, PR, content), approval of campaign materials, major PR events/appearances, social media obligations, ad-hoc interviews, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Provide onsite management/support at brand events and shoots (domestic and international).
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients and creative/account teams about how to best leverage and partner with their celebrity talent (starting with casting and through the duration of the relationships).
  • Advise on crisis management, if needed.
  • When necessary, directly organize (or oversee the organization of) key logistics related to celebrity talent (e.g., negotiate glam deals, security, car services, schedules, etc.).
  • Build and manage project budgets and oversee post-project accounting, close-out with finance.
  • Regularly collaborate with the strategy, account, creative, production and business affairs teams during the lifecycle of any given project.
  • Nurture relationships with talent agents, managers, publicists, attorneys and assistants.
