About The Position

The Senior Manager of Catalog & Content is responsible for managing catalog and content information for half of AutoZone’s categories (representing $7 Billion in sales). The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, analyzing, and formulating actionable opinions and strategies around the AutoZone catalog and content. This role acts as the “gatekeeper” for AutoZone’s catalog and content, ensuring submissions from internal and external sources meet high standards. It requires an understanding of complex data sets (from multiple sources) and the ability to create customer-based solutions. The Senior Manager will develop relationships with Category Directors, Merchandising Vice Presidents, and report opportunities and progress to them monthly. The goal is to achieve “Best in Class” catalogs that maximize the number of times AutoZone can say “yes” to customers and ensure industry-leading content, including meaningful product attributes (features and benefits, images, product attributes, and technical information).

Requirements

  • Experience assessing, analyzing, and formulating actionable opinions and strategies around the AutoZone catalog and content
  • Experience acting as the “gatekeeper” for AutoZone’s catalog and content, ensuring submissions from internal and external sources meet high standards
  • Understanding of complex data sets (from multiple sources)
  • Ability to create customer-based solutions
  • Experience developing relationships with Category Directors and Merchandising Vice Presidents
  • Experience reporting opportunities and progress to Category Directors and Merchandising Vice Presidents monthly
