Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Eight or more years wholesale related automotive experienced desired with demonstrated abilities in direct dealer contacts.
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.
  • Demonstrated abilities in AS400, SQL, EXAM, QMF and database management.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • QMF query ability.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all Regional Distribution activities. This includes Vehicle Distribution, Logistics, Regional Fleet sales and Company Cars.
  • Develop and order the optimal product mix for maximum turn-rate.
  • Monitor and control the allocation process to assure timely and equitable distribution.
  • Coordinate all activities of port operations to ensure vehicles are expediently shipped.
  • Coordinate all Regional Fleet and Service Loaner activities.
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with other activities, i.e., auto shows, sales training, HDAA activities.
  • Supervise and direct activities of department analysts.
  • Maintain monthly / yearly department expenses within established guidelines.
  • Mentor and train DSMs.
  • Regional source for QMF/SQL data generation.
  • Regional contact to Director of Sales Operations for all inventory, allocation and product planning issues.
  • Perform all other assigned duties (duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties) as required.
  • Responsible for approving Time Off Requests for regional distribution section.
  • Responsible for approving Equipment/Software requests for regional distribution section.
  • Responsible for completing the Performance Goals/Evaluations for regional distribution section.
