About The Position

This position is responsible for leading operational readiness efforts, integrated project coordination, strategic planning synchronization, and cross-functional execution management supporting TRISO-X’s fuel manufacturing mission. The role will work across Operations, Engineering, Projects, Quality, IT, Facilities, Training, and Regulatory organizations to ensure operational capabilities, readiness activities, and enabling business systems are effectively aligned to TX-1 milestones and long-range enterprise objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Typically Demonstrated by 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, readiness, manufacturing, engineering, military, DOE, nuclear, industrial, or high-consequence environments.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and integrated operational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, readiness programs, or operational integration efforts.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, operational planning, and organizational execution.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational readiness planning and implementation activities supporting TX-1 startup, commissioning, and sustained operations.
  • Coordinate readiness reviews, implementation verification activities, operational assessments, and corrective action integration.
  • Support development and execution of integrated readiness schedules tied to operational milestones and production objectives.
  • Ensure alignment between business operations, facilities readiness, training, IT systems, procedures, and operational execution requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional strategic initiatives and high-visibility special projects for BSS leadership.
  • Coordinate enterprise-level execution activities involving Facilities, IT, Data Governance, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Quality.
  • Support implementation of operational tools, workflow systems, readiness tracking mechanisms, and business process improvements.
  • Lead integrated planning efforts across multiple simultaneous initiatives within a dynamic operational environment.
  • Provide direct leadership to assigned personnel and matrixed teams.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies, onboarding processes, training frameworks, and professional development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture centered on accountability, safety, operational excellence, and mission execution.
  • Develop and maintain long-range operational calendars, integrated execution plans, and organizational synchronization processes.
  • Improve organizational visibility through dashboards, reporting metrics, milestone tracking, and executive-level communications.
  • Serve as a key interface between BSS and internal/external stakeholders including DOE, contractors, engineering teams, operations personnel, and senior leadership.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
