About The Position

Business Development sits at the intersection of merchandising and digital transformation, helping shape strategies and initiatives that drive growth across Baby, Consumables and U.S. merchandising. You’ll partner cross‑functionally to accelerate digital capabilities, unlock new opportunities, and solve complex problems. This is a high‑impact role for someone curious, adaptable, and eager to solve customer problems. The Consumables Business Development team works across Merchandising to identify, build, and scale initiatives that strengthen business performance and accelerate digital growth. Operating in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment, the team partners closely with merchandising, eCommerce, Growth teams, and strategic suppliers to influence strategy and execution. This role directly impacts category growth, customer experience, and merchandising priorities across the U.S.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, strategy, merchandising, or digital transformation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and leading work without defined precedents
  • A growth mindset with a passion for solving tough, high‑impact problems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 3 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or relevant area OR 5 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution for business development initiatives supporting consumables and the baby department
  • Accelerate digital capabilities that improve merchandising performance and customer experience
  • Support the Consumables “Rhythm of the Business”; coordinate key meetings and forums, such as quarterly business reviews, and more
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify growth opportunities and scale solutions
  • Analyze complex problems, synthesize insights, and recommend actionable strategies
  • Influence broader U.S. merchandising priorities through data‑driven storytelling
