Senior Manager, BizOps & Analytics
About The Position
Jerry.ai is seeking a Senior Manager for its BizOps & Analytics team to drive data insights and inform decision-making across various business units. This role involves embedding within a core business area (growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships) to own the analytical function end-to-end. The position requires defining the right problems, surfacing data insights, designing experiments, and driving recommendations to achieve business goals, such as expanding from 5M to 50M customers and becoming a $10B business in four years. The role emphasizes a hands-on approach, combining analytical insights with execution and end-to-end ownership of initiatives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently.
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact.
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level.
- First principles thinker: breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before touching data.
- Analytically strong (comfortable with Excel, SQL or Python).
- Direct communicator: can walk a skeptical stakeholder through a complex finding and get buy-in quickly.
- Owner mentality: acts like their name is on the door and feels responsible for fixing issues, even if outside their direct scope.
Responsibilities
- Sit on the central BizOps & Analytics team and be embedded in one of Jerry's core business areas (growth, product, AI and automation, strategic partnerships).
- Own the analytical function for that business unit end-to-end.
- Define the right problems by understanding the business question and decision to be informed, pushing back if the question is flawed.
- Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface data insights that move key metrics.
- Bring recommendations to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations, explaining what's happening, why, and outlining next steps.
- Drive impact and see analytical insights and decisions through to execution.
