About The Position

This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning, governance, and oversight of high-impact modular and relay initiatives within the Intimates department. The Senior Manager will set timelines, stage gates, risk mitigation plans, and success measures to ensure execution quality and alignment with enterprise goals. They will also balance capacity and capability across execution teams, serve as a subject-matter expert on modular execution standards, and act as a strategic liaison between various departments. Additionally, this role involves mentoring managers and associates to build future leaders and foster a culture of continuous learning and execution excellence.

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, operations, or related area and 5 years’ experience in retail operations, merchandising, or modular execution, including 2 years’ experience leading teams or cross-functional programs.
  • Option 2: 7 years’ progressive experience in retail operations, merchandising, or modular execution, with demonstrated leadership of large-scale relay/mod initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the end-to-end planning, governance, and oversight of high-impact modular and relay initiatives.
  • Sets timelines, stage gates, risk mitigation plans, and success measures to ensure execution quality and alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Escalates decisively to protect delivery and maintain execution integrity across formats.
  • Balances capacity and capability across modular execution teams to meet dynamic business needs.
  • Sequences work to align with business rhythms, seasonal effects, and store readiness.
  • Absorbs operational complexity to enable senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities.
  • Serves as a subject-matter expert on modular execution standards and best practices.
  • Institutionalizes “single-best-way” methods and quality checks across store formats.
  • Leads post-implementation reviews to codify learnings and scale improvements.
  • Acts as a strategic connector between Insights, Space, Merchant teams, and leadership.
  • Aligns decisions to execution realities and clarify roles, data needs, and decision rights.
  • Owns coordination tasks to protect analytical capacity and allow analysts to focus on insights.
  • Mentors managers and high-potential associates to build a bench of future leaders.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and execution excellence.

  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
