About The Position

PNL Consulting Inc. is seeking a seasoned, commercially minded business professional to join them as Senior Management Consultant with a view to reaching long-term leadership opportunities within the firm. Based out of Northern BC and reporting to the Managing Partner, the Senior Management Consultant will play a pivotal role in advising clients on financial, commercial, and operational strategies. You will work on business strategy, M&A, and financial advisory engagements. Interest in working with indigenous clients is important as a lot of their clients are indigenous.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in business leadership or management consulting, with substantial expertise in financial analysis, commercial operations, business management, and strategic visioning.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex projects and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modelling, data interpretation, and strategic frameworks.
  • Proven experience in corporate governance within for-profit commercial enterprises, including oversight of compliance, risk management, ethical standards, and board-level advisory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to leadership teams.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Indigenous communities and/or their economic development entities is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMC) preferred, but capability is more important than credentials.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate to Prince George or Northern BC and ability to travel for client engagements to various locations across BC and Alberta.
  • Leadership potential, with a commitment to professional growth and succession planning.

Responsibilities

  • Leading client engagements, providing expert advice on financial analysis, commercial optimization, business process improvements, and strategic planning to enhance profitability and competitiveness for clients.
  • Developing and implementing tailored management strategies, including market assessments, risk evaluations, and growth roadmaps, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact recommendations.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for expanded services and long-term partnerships.
  • Supporting firm-wide initiatives, including business development and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Travel to client sites and regional locations as required (primarily within BC and Alberta).
