About The Position

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to join our team providing professional services to the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) within the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M). This role supports a fast-paced team to deliver and assist the Director of Administrative and Management with key functions related to governance, organizational management, strategic planning, and performance management activities across the DoW. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong analytical and business management skills, capable of managing complex project initiatives and ensuring deliverables meet client requirements and expectations.

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience providing strategic, analytical services to senior level
  • Highly proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and SharePoint are required.
  • Experience supporting OSW is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills geared towards
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills that foster teamwork and create positive relationships with staff and principals.
  • Experience in leading the successful preparation and approval of reports, briefings, memoranda, and presentations is required.
  • Experience synthesizing large amounts of information into concise executive recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, plan, problem solve, and adapt in a fast-paced and strategic environment under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze and think outside the box to resolve complex
  • Experience using CATMS or similar tasking tool
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support special projects and initiatives identified by Government leadership.
  • Apply organizational knowledge of the Department, analytical capabilities, and critical thinking skills to produce executive-level products that assist with policy and decision-making.
  • Draft, edit, and present papers and briefings on a range of subjects for senior leaders.
  • Research complex topics by utilizing knowledge of the Department, identifying and interviewing key stakeholders and subject matter experts, and translating technical information into clear, audience-appropriate content.
  • Identify, gather, analyze, and present quantitative and qualitative data to inform recommendations and courses of action.
  • Identify and communicate the impact of changes in mission or resources and recommend alternative courses of action and potential solutions to address management problems.
  • Manage project execution, monitor milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Support governance forums, policy development, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts supporting DA&M priorities.
  • Facilitate working group sessions or workshops with stakeholders to optimize business delivery.

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $165,000 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies' total compensation package for employees.
