Senior Maintenance Worker - Cecil Ivory House
About The Position
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of facility. Make repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. Responsible for preventative maintenance of cooling/heating and domestic hot water systems. Ensure that the periodic maintenance and inspection of elevators, sprinkler systems, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers is performed and documented. Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed. Receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies. Move furniture as needed. Be a member of the fire safety team. Participate in fire drills. Related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Five years experience in building maintenance, experience in trades is helpful.
- Ability to use independent discretion and judgement.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
