Requirements
- Maintenance experience in the multi-family, hospitality, or similar industry
- Competency in residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, painting, and drywall
- Customer service experience
- Proficient in the use of modern technology, especially computers and smartphones
- Valid driver’s license
- Rotating on-call responsibility required

- Knowledge of and experience in carpentry
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, ensuring grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, market-ready units, common areas, and other spaces are free of debris, trash, and graffiti. Report any deficiencies or safety issues immediately.
- Respond to resident maintenance and service requests, taking appropriate action to repair and restore services within established quality and time standards.
- Prepare apartments for occupancy by performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, carpet cleaning, painting, patching, texturing, basic cleaning, and other equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order, request replacements, and assist with inventory stocking.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with ordering supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels within budget.
- Assist with scheduling and supervising contractors.
- Assist in training and mentoring new Maintenance Technicians and/or Apprentices.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, confirming their expectations are met.
- Identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
