About The Position

Weee! is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop machine learning solutions for pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, demand forecasting, and optimization. The role builds end-to-end systems using the company’s data, spanning data exploration, model design, training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to introduce machine learning innovations and address pricing and promotional planning challenges, with the goal of improving revenue growth, profitability, and business efficiency. The position also uses analytical skills, machine learning, and statistical models to identify insights, strategies, and new business opportunities. This role is onsite five days a week in Fremont, California. The stated base salary is $137,093. The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, incentives, and benefits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, training, or experience; the employer will accept a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a requisite field followed by 24 months of relevant experience.
At least 24 months of experience as a Quantitative Analyst, Artificial Intelligence Engineer, or in a machine learning-related position.
Two years of professional experience in deep learning model design and architecture.
Two years of professional experience in traditional machine learning for production use cases.
Two years of professional experience in time-series forecasting and decision modeling.
Two years of professional experience in multimodal and unstructured data modeling.
Two years of professional experience in representation learning, embeddings, and retrieval systems.
Two years of professional experience in generative AI / LLM applications.
Two years of professional experience in production ML infrastructure and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to improve pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness, including demand forecasting and optimization.
Build end-to-end machine learning solutions using company data, from exploration and model design through training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce machine learning innovations and address optimization challenges in pricing and promotional planning.
Apply analytical skills, machine learning, and statistical models to develop insights and strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Support improvements in revenue growth, profitability, and overall business efficiency.
