It also includes developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders, negotiating contracts and rates, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing logistics data to identify trends and improve processes, and resolving issues that arise during the transportation process. The role also requires preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and supervising and mentoring logistics staff. Additionally, this position will lead logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency, such as implementing new technologies or processes to streamline operations.
