About The Position

INFICON is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all logistics operations. This role involves managing supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and carriers, negotiating contracts and rates, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing logistics data to improve efficiency, resolving transportation issues, preparing documentation, leading logistics projects, and supervising logistics staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in logistics software. SAP experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations. This includes negotiating contracts and rates to optimize costs
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve processes, and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
• Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation, including shipping records, inventory reports, and compliance documentation
• Supervise and mentor logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members meet performance goals and adhere to best practices
• Lead logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency, such as implementing new technologies or processes to streamline operations
