The role also involves packaging, marking, and labeling shipments, loading/unloading trucks, scheduling carrier pickups, verifying shipment contents against documentation, obtaining signatures, and ensuring driver compliance with safety procedures. Processing Oracle transactions, filing freight claims, examining outgoing shipments for specifications, performing tool inspections, and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies are also part of the duties. Additional tasks may be assigned by a supervisor.
