INDUS supports the planning, coordination, and installation activities of Combat System and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C5I) Systems in aircraft carriers, and other strike group or strike force units (including but not limited to LHA, LHD, LPD, and other L-Class units). Our team is directly responsible for supporting the planning, budgeting, and execution of New Construction (SCN) testing and modernization efforts in support of the Modernization and Installation Department (N Department), Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD). Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Logistics Analyst provides logistics and maintenance support for Navy Combat Systems programs, including Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and 3M program requirements on the Logistics Management Services contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Requirements

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Seven (7) years of experience providing logistics and maintenance expertise in a U.S. Navy or similar DoD environment.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Combat Systems background as an ET, FC/FCA, STG, or VLS-experienced GM.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Navy’s Planned Maintenance System (PMS) to ensure fleet readiness and compliance with NAVSEA technical policy
  • Resolve maintenance issues in accordance with established Navy agreements, instructions, and engineering guidance.
  • Independently assess the accuracy and adequacy of PMS documentation supporting ships, submarines, and shore facilities.
  • Evaluate Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs), Field Changes (FCs), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to determine impact on maintenance procedures and configuration baselines.
  • Review and update Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) documentation for new construction and system modifications.
  • Analyze contractor-developed PMS documentation and translate technical source data (drawings, manuals, ship systems data) into accurate maintenance procedures.
  • Optimize organizational-level maintenance procedures to improve reliability while supporting reduced manpower requirements.
  • Review, adjudicate, and reassign PMS Service Requests (PSRs) submitted by fleet and engineering stakeholders for technical resolution.
  • Support life-cycle logistics planning to align maintenance strategies with provisioning and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements.
  • Conduct technical data management by reviewing engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to resolve discrepancies and address obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with In-Service Engineering Agencies (ISEAs) to support failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action development.
  • Support maintenance planning systems (e.g., CDMD-OA) to maintain configuration accuracy and fleet material readiness.
  • Contribute to sustainment strategies for fielded and legacy systems, including obsolescence management, modernization planning, supply chain alignment, and system retirement planning.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
