SENIOR LOGISTICS ANALYST
About The Position
CACI is hiring a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) under its NFL contract at COMNAVAIRLANT in Norfolk, Virginia. The role supports Navy aviation readiness by coordinating logistics and maintenance assistance, analyzing operational data, and providing recommendations to leadership. The position requires an active Department of Defense Secret clearance and typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant business discipline and at least eight years of combined Navy logistics and Navy AIS management experience, subject to the stated education-substitution provisions. Travel may be required up to 25%.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Typically, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related business discipline and a minimum of eight years in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy AIS management.
- As an education substitute, eight years of experience in Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs; this equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
- Strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Navy aviation supply and maintenance relationships, organization, and management databases is highly desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize expedited delivery of necessary parts or technical assistance and provide end users with insight for efficient aircraft handling.
- Participate in daily conference calls with maintenance team leaders of Naval aviation squadrons.
- Support readiness at 15 Aviation Support Detachments on the East and West coasts and at OCONUS detachments.
- Provide analytical data to senior leadership through reports.
- Advise leadership on possible process improvements and review data calls that may require in-depth data mining.
- Provide Lateral Support (LATSUP) to various aviation units.
