About The Position

CACI is hiring a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) under its NFL contract at COMNAVAIRLANT in Norfolk, Virginia. The position supports Navy aviation readiness by coordinating expedited delivery of parts and technical assistance, analyzing logistics data, and advising leadership and end users on aircraft handling and process improvements. The role supports 15 Aviation Support Detachments on the East and West coasts, as well as OCONUS detachments, and provides lateral support to aviation units.

Requirements

Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Typically, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related business discipline, and at least eight years of combined Navy logistics and Navy AIS management experience.
In lieu of the specified education, eight years of experience in Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs; equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
Strong verbal skills to communicate analysis results and recommendations.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Navy aviation supply and maintenance relationships, organization, and management databases.
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Prioritize expedited delivery of necessary parts or technical assistance and provide end users with insight for efficient aircraft handling.
Participate in daily conference calls with maintenance team leaders of Naval aviation squadrons.
Support readiness at 15 Aviation Support Detachments on the East and West coasts and at OCONUS detachments.
Provide analytical data to senior leadership by running reports.
Advise leadership on potential process improvements and review data calls that may require in-depth data mining.
Provide Lateral Support (LATSUP) to various aviation units.
