About The Position

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to contribute to its Logistics and Supply Chain teams and oversee the reliable, end-to-end movement of products through a complex global network. The role leads customer-focused logistics execution across inbound, outbound, and intracompany flows; coordinates international transportation and trade requirements; and uses data, judgment, and influence to protect service, manage risk, and improve total delivered cost. The Senior Logistics Analyst manages assigned global product flows from order readiness through delivery and closeout, designs transportation solutions across multiple modes, coordinates customs and trade requirements, and leads shipment execution and exception resolution across time zones. The role also establishes operating rhythms with global stakeholders, develops logistics reporting, and leads continuous-improvement work to enhance delivery performance, responsiveness, visibility, and cost. It requires close collaboration with internal customers, regional teams, distributors, suppliers, carriers, and customs service providers. Lutron describes itself as a worldwide leader in lighting control and shading solutions, with a focus on quality, customer service, technology, and global growth. The company offers competitive compensation and benefits, opportunities for continued growth and education, and relocation support. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future work visa sponsorship.

  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in global logistics, international transportation, supply chain operations, or a related field.
  • If the applicant has fewer than 10 years of experience after academics, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required.
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end logistics for international shipments and serving as a senior customer-facing partner.
  • Advanced working knowledge of international trade compliance, customs processes, commercial documentation, Incoterms, and cross-border risk.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate service, capacity, risk, and total landed-cost tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across regions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Excellent judgment and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment with competing customer and business needs.
  • High level of accountability, executive-ready communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with ERP and TMS platforms, MS Office, Power BI, and data visualization or reporting tools.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring Lutron to sponsor a work visa now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for assigned global product flows, from order readiness and mode selection through delivery, exception resolution, and final closeout.
  • Serve as a trusted logistics partner and escalation point for internal customers, regional teams, distributors, suppliers, carriers, and customs service providers.
  • Design and execute transportation solutions across ocean, air, parcel, truckload, less-than-truckload, and multimodal networks, balancing service, capacity, resilience, compliance, and cost.
  • Lead shipment execution and exception management across time zones; anticipate disruptions, develop recovery options, and make timely decisions to minimize customer and business impact.
  • Communicate proactively with customers by translating operational risks into clear updates, choices, commitments, and recovery plans.
  • Own international trade and customs coordination for assigned flows, ensuring accurate documentation, classification support, broker alignment, and compliance with applicable requirements and company policies.
  • Establish operating rhythms with global stakeholders, including service reviews, escalation paths, handoffs, and performance commitments.
  • Lead continuous-improvement projects to raise on-time delivery, shorten lead times, strengthen responsiveness, improve visibility, and reduce avoidable logistics costs.
  • Build and interpret logistics performance reporting, including on-time delivery, lead time, freight spend, claims, exception aging, and service reliability; turn findings into prioritized actions.
  • Influence without direct authority, facilitate root-cause analysis, document decisions, and ensure commitments are followed through to measurable results.
  • Align with Lutron's stated values: passion, flexibility and adaptability, innovative thinking, customer focus, and ethics.
