About The Position

CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst with experience in Navy Food Service Operations and Food Service Management (FSM) AIS to conduct detailed FSM III troubleshooting, policy review and updates, and resolve FSM problems reported by CNSL ships.

Requirements

  • Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related business discipline.
  • Eight years of “hands-on” experience in a combination of Navy food service operations and Food Service Management (FSM) program AIS is acceptable (as a substitute for degree).
  • Training related to the “degree substitute” provided at Navy schools is considered “hands on” experience.
  • In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, the Logistics Analyst must have eight years of experience in a combination of Navy food service operations and FSM AIS management.
  • Experience in automated supply/maintenance management systems must be with FSM application from a food service manager perspective to effectively analyze a wide array of file conditions.
  • Must have expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Must be able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience obtained as a former U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Food Services Manager with tours on CG/CVN/DDG/LHA/LHD/LPD/LSD class Navy ships as a Leading Culinary Specialist.
  • Experience being part of a Navy Afloat Training Group or Navy Food Management Team is a plus.
  • Possess strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare and conduct individual and seminar training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly food service metrics analysis utilizing FSM data to enforce food service policy.
  • Provide direct shipboard supply assistance onboard USN ships and distance support to provide training and resolve FSM discrepancies reported by ships.
  • Conduct FSM management training in a seminar or individual setting.
  • Assist CNSL staff in creating and updating training curriculum.
  • Provide subject matter expert support for revision of TYCOM policies and instructions.
  • Develop, analyze, and prepare follow-up reports to evaluate effectiveness of food service operations.
  • Travel to provide shipboard training or attend Navy food service meetings.
  • Review deployed/C2X ships contingency menu load out and fill rates.
  • Analyze submitted MILSTRIPS and send guidance for corrective action prior to FLC fill.
  • Provide Push Logistics support to CNSL ships.
