About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in commercial real estate and loan operations? We are seeking a Senior Loan Administrative Assistant to provide advanced operational support to our lending team. This role handles complex commercial loan functions—from coordinating high-stakes closings to reviewing attorney-prepared documentation. As a senior member of the team, you will operate with a high level of independence, solving technical problems and mentoring junior staff to ensure efficiency and compliance across the department.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience banking or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial loan operations and administrative support.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial loan processing and documentation, with a deep understanding of complex loan structures.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail with a comprehensive grasp of loan servicing rules, regulations, and bank policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative support for commercial and commercial real estate (CRE) loans.
  • Process and review loan reports and closing materials. Demonstrate mastery of attorney-prepared documents for CRE transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage collateral documentation (mortgages, title policies, UCC filings, and vehicle titling) to safeguard the Bank’s security interests and ensure full perfection.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for lenders, borrowers, attorneys, and title companies to facilitate seamless loan closings.
  • Request flood determinations and process mortgage satisfactions and partial releases.
  • Use strong analytical skills to resolve complex documentation and process-related issues independently.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor, providing training and guidance to less experienced staff members.
