About The Position

Prepare and review legal and litigation related documents. Perform a broad range of legal work, focusing on public records compliance, liability defense, tort and contract litigation, warranty dispute resolution, and eDiscovery.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (JD ) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience is required, which may include experience as a Corporate Attorney or equivalent experience relevant to the assignment.
  • Be Bar certified, in good standing in current state of practice; if not Arizona, able to become certified in Arizona within 18 months.
  • Excellent computer literacy utilizing Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Outlook), Westlaw, and SharePoint.
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Relativity, Clearwell, Teams and Open Text helpful as well.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review litigation and legal documents.
  • Oversee and provide legal support for public records compliance.
  • Manage the activities of outside counsel.
  • Negotiate settlement of complex matters.
  • Manage all aspects of electronic data collection, preservation, review and disclosure.
  • Provide legal support and services related to public records requests, litigation matters, legal holds, subpoenas, depositions, and other matters involving claims, risk management and document productions.
  • Perform legal work, research and analysis.
  • Develop effective working relationships with legal colleagues and internal clients.
  • Perform as a team player.
  • Advise members of management on various issues, including prosecution, defense, and settlement of complex litigation or claims matters.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle all duties with confidentiality, discretion and good judgment.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
