Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Enterprise Partnerships

About The Position

This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours. We're looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the lifecycle work behind these partnerships, from journey architecture and segmentation through creative strategy and reporting. You'll report to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing and work closely with a fellow Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager also focused on enterprise, each of you owning distinct partner relationships with shared ownership on our highest-priority account. This isn't a one-size-fits-all role. Some partnerships call for full journey builds, others call for strategic recommendations, creative direction, or mocks that the partner's own team executes, but in every case, you're the lifecycle expert in the room, and for some partnerships, that means being client-facing. Because this work is new, there's no existing playbook or reporting baseline yet, you'll help write it.

Requirements

  • Lifecycle channel expertise: 4–7 years owning lifecycle marketing campaigns with direct accountability for performance across email, push, or SMS.
  • Enterprise-level ESP experience: Hands-on in a major enterprise-grade ESP (Iterable, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Responsys, or similar), comfortable in complex, high-stakes sending environments without engineering support.
  • Builder mentality: You enjoy creating net-new systems from scratch. There's no playbook or reporting baseline here yet, and you'll help define both.
  • Analytical and creative range: You design sound experiments, catch discrepancies in platform data, write strong briefs, and know what's driving a performance change at the copy or format level.
  • Structured and clear: You manage multiple partner workstreams without dropping details, and you can distill a complex performance story into a crisp recommendation for a senior leader or a partner team.
  • High ownership: You hold yourself accountable to outcomes, follow through, and don't wait to be asked.

Responsibilities

  • Own the work, whatever form it takes: Some partnerships need full journey builds in Iterable, others need lifecycle strategy, recommendations, and creative mocks the partner's team executes. Either way, the goal is the same: real value for the consumer on the other end, not just another email.
  • Build the playbook as you go: Create repeatable journey templates, creative frameworks, and QA checklists that let new and existing partnerships scale without starting from scratch each time.
  • Be the Customer Success point of contact: Partner with CS (and Business Intelligence, as needed) to set up KPI reporting, translate partner commitments into executable recommendations, and flag risks before they become partner-facing problems.
  • Design experiments and diagnose performance: Run multi-variable tests with proper holdout groups where you own execution, and when something breaks (a deliverability issue, sudden CVR drop, unexplained churn), form a hypothesis and test a fix fast.
  • Build reporting that holds up: Create KPI dashboards and tracking accurate enough that stakeholders trust them at a glance, not just ones that exist.
  • Run projects without needing to be chased: Lead workstreams for partner launches, journey builds, and creative refreshes with clear milestones and ownership.
  • Communicate up and across: Present partner insights and recommendations to the Director, Customer Success, and cross-functional partners, connecting performance to business outcomes, not just metrics.
  • Use AI as a real part of your workflow: Drafting, reporting, hypothesis generation, briefs, whatever accelerates the work, and know where it doesn't replace judgment
