About The Position

Bolt Farm Treehouse aims to help couples slow down, reconnect, and strengthen their relationships through intentional, restorative experiences in beautiful, private environments. The spa is a key part of this experience, serving as a strong revenue driver. Under new leadership, the spa is implementing new standards and a new schedule model to meet growing demand, including the addition of a fourth treatment room. Therapists are supported by a Spa Attendant for laundry and supplies, and a Spa Concierge for non-treatment tasks, allowing therapists to focus on their craft. As a Senior Licensed Massage Therapist, your primary role is to provide high-quality, personalized bodywork to help couples feel relaxed, cared for, and reconnected. The role is designed to protect both the therapist's craft and physical well-being, with each treatment paid for 90 minutes (80 minutes hands-on, 10 minutes to prepare the room). Therapists deliver up to five treatments per day, four days a week, with fixed start times. Most treatments involve couples, often with a therapist working alongside a colleague. The job focuses solely on hands-on bodywork, with no sales, scheduling, or payment collection responsibilities. The spa operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, avoiding late-night shifts.

Requirements

• Active Tennessee massage therapy license in good standing
• Availability for a fixed 4-day schedule, including at least one weekend day and holidays
• Physical capacity for five 80-minute treatments a day, four days a week
• Ability to work onsite in Whitwell, TN

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized massage treatments tailored to each guest's needs, preferences, and comfort level
• Perform signature couples experiences and approved modalities — Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation, aromatherapy, hot stone — within your training and licensure
• Deliver treatments exactly as written, adhering to company standards for products, music, and room settings
• Consult with guests before each service regarding pressure, focus areas, contraindications, and desired outcomes
• Maintain a calm and consistent presence in the treatment room
• Keep the treatment space spotless and fully prepared, with support from the Spa Attendant
• Share wellness recommendations only when they genuinely serve the guest, as the Concierge handles retail
• Follow all Tennessee massage therapy regulations, sanitation standards, draping protocols, and Bolt Farm service standards
