About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join a serene spa located in Brooklyn. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing therapeutic treatments and promoting client wellness and relaxation. We strictly focus on treatment-based, issue-fixing therapy rather than standard relaxation. We need therapists who are eager to target and release physical tightness and pressure. Our belief is that the relaxation comes after releasing the tightness and the pressure in the physical body.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
Current New York State massage therapy license (or be able to obtain upon request).
Must have at least 2 years of professional massage therapy experience.
Proficiency in various massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, etc.).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional, dependable, and dedicated to providing exceptional client care.

Responsibilities

Perform professional-quality massage and body treatments
Consult with clients to identify their needs and customize services
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked treatment room
Uphold the spa's standards of excellence and client service

Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Earn a highly competitive rate of $40-$50/h based on experience plus $26-$32/h tip on top.
Work Schedule: Full-time and Part-time position. (1099 Independent Contractor - highly flexible on scheduling)
