About The Position

Greencells is seeking to expand its legal team with a Senior Legal Counsel experienced in international construction law, focusing on solar EPC contracting, project execution, claims, and disputes across various markets including the EU, UK, and Ireland. This role offers a key position in international solar EPC projects, contract management, and supporting Greencells' growth.

  • Candidates with a law degree from either a civil law or common law jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, procurement, construction, and employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Advise senior management and the Board on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including supply, construction, sales, subcontractor, EPC, and O&M contracts.
  • Develop and maintain legal templates, standards, and best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage external legal counsel.
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and guidelines, including areas such as anti-bribery, sanctions, business ethics, and third-party risk management.
  • Contribute to internal compliance processes, training, and investigations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Support the business in EPC-related claims and dispute resolution across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advise on dispute prevention, contract administration, and escalation strategies during project execution.
  • Handle complex contractual issues such as delays, disruptions, defects, variations, extensions of time, liquidated damages, and payment claims.
  • Assist project teams in protecting contractual rights, preparing notices, and managing claims documentation.
  • Coordinate litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and settlement processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
  • Support management in assessing legal exposure and identifying commercially viable dispute resolution strategies.
