About The Position

The School of Communication at The Ohio State University seeks a Senior Lecturer to teach 8 courses over the academic year. In addition to teaching, the Senior Lecturer is responsible for preparing syllabi and course materials, holding office hours, grading assignments and submitting grades by deadlines, and communicating regularly with students. This role involves planning and organizing instruction to maximize student learning, meeting scheduled classes and office hours, ensuring curriculum implementation, preparing and evaluating student work in a timely manner, maintaining accurate student progress records, and submitting final grade rosters according to university deadlines. Confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Teach 8 courses over the academic year.
