The Senior Lease Auditor is part of the Lease Administration/Audit team and will have entry-level skills in all areas of managing and performing lease audits related to OPEX, CAM, RET, Insurance and Utilities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in various areas including pre-audit reviews of annual expense reconciliations, strong knowledge of commercial lease language and interpretation of provisions, understanding of different lease types, effective communication with landlord representatives, review of landlord-provided documentation, staying informed on industry trends, performing detailed expense analysis, collaborating with Lease Analysts and clients, preparing final audit summaries and savings invoices, maintaining audit files and tracking, regular reporting to management, interfacing with landlord representatives on complex issues, working with internal international teams, providing quality control reviews, understanding the dynamics of a third-party auditor, and researching tax websites. The role requires a high performance drive and the ability to process a high number of pre-audits annually, as well as overseeing the maintenance of account processes and playbooks. The position also involves learning to reconcile client accounts for payments related to OPEX, CAM, and Tax.
