As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Electronic Trading Service at JPMorgan Chase, you bring broad, cross-disciplinary expertise spanning low-latency software, network/platform engineering, and the end-to-end electronic trading stack across Investment Banking Markets (FICC and Equities). You pair deep domain knowledge of trading verticals and high-level execution strategies (e.g., agency execution, market making, hedging, and liquidity-seeking/impact-minimizing routing) with a strong understanding of core market components—including real-time market data (L1/L2, multicast feed-handling, normalization and distribution), venue connectivity, and exchange/order semantics (order types, time-in-force, throttles/limits, and drop-copy/clearing flows). The successful candidate will have hands-on experience using IXIA to validate performance and traffic behaviour under realistic market-data and order-entry patterns—characterizing throughput, latency, jitter, microburst behaviour, and packet loss—and will hold an active network platform certification (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent).
