  • Familiarity with TIC ERP/LIMS platforms.
  • ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ASTM D6299, and EPA Part 1090 familiarity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ASTM-aligned lab testing, instrument maintenance and calibration, and quality and compliance systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LIMS, ERP, or lab automation systems as a power user, administrator, or implementation lead.
  • Broad exposure across multiple lab disciplines, methodologies, and testing verticals.
  • Strong communication and training skills, comfortable with a bench analyst and a VP on the same site visit, and credible with both.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% to client sites across the US and globally.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site or global lab program exposure.
  • Experience as a Laboratory Manager or Supervisor, including cross-functional collaboration, scheduling, and performance coaching.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Excel data handling, or basic IT/lab systems administration.
  • Experience in a client-facing advisory or consulting capacity.
  • Involvement in laboratory technology evaluation, selection, and rollout initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary TIC domain expert on enterprise client engagements, making lab leadership feel understood.
  • Lead structured discovery sessions with lab and quality managers, lab analysts, and other stakeholders to document current-state workflows, pain points, and system requirements.
  • Validate test method mappings, instrument configurations, and calculation logic against real lab outputs.
  • Develop client super users and a client center of excellence.
  • Build and maintain the global lab rollout playbook to ensure each implementation is faster and cleaner than the last.
  • Feed real-world TIC insights directly into product roadmap prioritization.
  • Lead full-cycle LIMS/QC as the primary client-facing project resource.
  • Partner with lab, operations, IT, and compliance stakeholders to gather requirements and configure workflows.
  • Guide project planning and execution to ensure on-time delivery, adoption, and long-term success.
  • Serve as the primary implementation lead and refinery lab SME during customer deployments.
  • Configure LIMS workflows to support sample tracking, QC testing and results validation, instrument data capture, product release, and compliance requirements.
  • Support instrument integration across GC/LC, titrators, AA/ICP, distillation, and other common analyzers.
  • Align configurations with ASTM-based testing and refinery quality operations.
  • Identify opportunities to replace or upgrade existing workflows and disparate systems as part of a long-term platform strategy.
  • Deliver structured training across lab teams at varying technical skill levels (chemists, technicians, supervisors, managers).
  • Coach labs through rollout readiness, process changes, and system adoption.
  • Develop super users and internal champions who own the platform after go-live.
  • Produce documentation, SOPs, job aids, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Troubleshoot technical and process issues during implementation and go-live support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lab workflows, data quality, efficiency, and reporting through system optimization.
  • Provide structured feedback to internal product and development teams based on real-world client needs.
  • Support team standardization through reusable templates, configuration patterns, and best practices.
