About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Landscape Designer to lead high-end residential design-build projects with a strong focus on client engagement and closing work. This is a hybrid design + sales role—not a pure design position. You will own the full lifecycle from initial client consultation through design, presentation, and close, directly driving revenue and backlog for installation teams. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in front of clients, can sell design concepts, and wants to be directly tied to project production and revenue growth.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in residential landscape design or design-build
Proven track record of selling and closing landscape/outdoor living projects (required)
Experience with high-end residential or estate-level clients
Proficiency in landscape design software with 3D modeling
Strong client-facing, presentation, and sales skills
Ability to own the full project lifecycle (consultation → design → close)
Comfortable being measured on revenue production and backlog generation
Must have residential design-build experience (commercial-only backgrounds will not be considered)

Responsibilities

Meet with homeowners and estate clients to define project goals, vision, and budget
Develop landscape concepts, layouts, and outdoor living designs
Create and present 3D models and visual presentations
Lead client presentations and sales conversations, positioning design-build solutions
Close residential landscape projects typically ranging from $50K–$100K+
Generate consistent backlog for installation crews by converting opportunities
Manage multiple active client opportunities while maintaining responsiveness
Collaborate with field and installation teams to ensure design alignment
Contribute to improving design processes, client experience, and sales performance
