About The Position

We are seeking a Landscape Designer to support residential outdoor design projects within a design-build environment, while developing client-facing and sales capabilities. This is not a back-office drafting role—it’s a growth opportunity for someone who wants to evolve into a client-facing, revenue-generating designer over time. You’ll work closely with senior designers and field teams, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle (concept → presentation → execution).

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or related field
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools
  • Interest or exposure to 3D modeling and client presentation work
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Interest in developing client-facing and sales skills over time

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or formal training in landscape architecture, design, or similar
  • Exposure to residential design-build environments

Responsibilities

  • Support development of residential landscape concepts and layouts
  • Assist in creating 2D plans and 3D models for client presentations
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior designers
  • Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements
  • Manage multiple design tasks and deadlines across active projects
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure design alignment in the field
  • Learn the design-build sales process and how projects are presented and sold
  • Contribute to increasing design output and project backlog
  • Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation
