About The Position

Fractal Power is a vertically integrated power company that owns and operates utility-scale energy storage infrastructure and uses algorithmic trading and dispatch to deliver power where and when it is needed. The company is backed by infrastructure and deeptech investors. The Senior Land Agent will serve as the primary company representative to landowners and secure long-term lease and purchase agreements for Fractal Power’s Distributed Generation (DG) Battery Energy Storage (BESS) portfolio. This is a Texas-based, high-autonomy role requiring a closer mentality and a deep understanding of Texas land rights. The role involves travel across ERCOT territories and direct engagement with landowners and other stakeholders.

Requirements

At least 8 years of land acquisition experience is preferred, preferably in renewable energy; Texas Oil & Gas experience is also accepted.
A proven track record managing the complete land acquisition lifecycle for Texas energy projects, from initial outreach through execution of definitive agreements.
Proficiency in courthouse record research, title curative work, and GIS mobile tools.
Willingness to travel across ERCOT territories and conduct direct, in-person landowner outreach.

Texas Real Estate License or AAPL certification (CPL or RPL).

Responsibilities

Launch and manage multi-channel outreach campaigns—including mail, phone, and door-knocking—to convert cold leads into project partners.
Travel across ERCOT territories, meet landowners, and represent the company with stakeholders.
Support end-to-end negotiations of Lease Options, Lease Agreements, and Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSA).
Provide the development team with real-time, high-fidelity feedback on on-the-ground issues that GIS tools may not reveal, such as local opposition, hidden easements, or competing developers.
