About The Position

JCG Land Services is hiring a full-time Acquisition Specialist to secure property rights and leases for power development and infrastructure projects across the Midwest. The role involves working with landowners, clients, and project teams, with relationship-building, problem-solving, and travel as key aspects of the work. The position offers a hybrid work environment and supports projects that contribute to critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel overnight 2–3 days per week.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain Notary Public designation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in agriculture, construction, sales, real estate, land acquisition, or customer service.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, ag business, real estate, marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with landowners and industry partners.
• Negotiate easements, property acquisitions, and access rights.
• Coordinate between clients and property owners throughout projects.
• Evaluate and negotiate crop and property damages.
• Help coordinate property access for construction and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate parcel and landowner records.
• Read and explain project plans to landowners.
• Track project progress and task completion.
