Land Acquisition Associate
About The Position
The Land Acquisition Associate helps maintain the company’s pipeline of potential land deals and ensures that opportunities align with the Division’s market strategy. The role supports land transactions through financial modeling, tracking worksheets, acquisition files and reports, and solutions to streamline transactions. It also involves learning the market value of raw land and ensuring contract compliance for current deals. Day-to-day work includes researching properties, reviewing and analyzing data, drafting letters and documents, networking with local land professionals, brokers, and agents, building financial models, identifying underutilized properties, and sometimes visiting potential acquisition sites. The role operates in a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
- Real estate or homebuilding experience.
- Be organized and detail-oriented, with an analytical mindset.
- Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with internal and external groups.
- Be excited to collaborate in a team environment.
- Demonstrate active listening, confidence, and respect when communicating with others.
