In addition to technical responsibilities, you will assume some supervision and coordination of the activities of the laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative test. Here, you will have the ability to train and guide laboratory technologist, participate in problem-solving processes and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards, among other responsibilities. This is a full-time day shift position 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday including rotating weekends/holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Requirements

  • A minimum of two years experience of in Microbiology.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience)
  • New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist
  • ASCP certification
