About The Position
The Senior Clinical Lab Technologist is responsible for performing hands-on testing while overseeing the work of other technologists, ensuring quality standards are met, providing technical guidance, training new staff, and assisting in the implementation of new tests and technologies within their assigned department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) or Medical Technology
- Minimum four (4) years relevant clinical expertise in a hospital laboratory setting with a Bachelor’s degree
- Current New York State License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers
Nice To Haves
- Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist
