Senior Laboratory Assistant

Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices while assisting laboratory technical staff, receiving/accessioning and/or processing specimens according to laboratory procedures. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies. Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Coursework/Training successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college, military program, employer, or an equivalent training program
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification

- Prior phlebotomy experience
