Senior Laboratory Assistant, Float

About The Position
This position will perform essential lab functions at any of the West Region Centers or Phlebotomy Draw Stations. Hours can vary from 4 AM to 7 PM and will include rotating through weekends at either EC Hospital or covering Urgent Care services at a clinic center. Premium Float Rate - $1.25 per hour
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.
- Phlebotomy certification required or registry eligible to take exam within 12 months of hire.
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of laboratory related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.
- Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
- Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies.
- May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results.
- Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
- Expected to train and onboard new employees.
