Senior Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Laboratory
About The Position
The Senior Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California, collects and processes blood specimens and provides assessment and care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric inpatients, emergency room patients, and patients from other hospital services as needed. The assistant may also collect and process outpatient specimens. Additional duties include inoculating microbiology specimens onto primary media and processing specimens for referral testing. The position requires proficiency in required competencies. The role is part-time and works 8-hour evening shifts. Requirements
- Upon hire, hold a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License.
