Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.
• National phlebotomy certification through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is required or registry eligible to take exam within 12 months of hire.
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of laboratory related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies.
• May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results.
• Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
• Expected to train and onboard new employees.
• Phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.
• Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
