Senior Laboratory Assistant, Float
About The Position
Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This role involves phlebotomy, collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens. The Senior Laboratory Assistant will assist in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Responsibilities include aiding in the preparation of laboratory specimens and supplies, potentially entering laboratory orders and results, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. This position is also expected to train and onboard new employees. The home base location is Minocqua with travel to Park Falls required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required
- Phlebotomy certification required or registry eligible to take exam within 12 months of hire
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- One year of laboratory related experience preferred
