Senior Laboratory Assistant, Float
About The Position
Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This role involves phlebotomy, collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens. The assistant will also aid in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks, ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. Additionally, this position is expected to train and onboard new employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required
- Phlebotomy certification required or registry eligible to take exam within 12 months of hire
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- One year of laboratory related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy
