About The Position
The Senior Laboratory Assistant at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, is responsible for the collection and processing of blood specimens. This role involves providing assessment and care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric in-patients, emergency room patients, and patients from other hospital services as needed. The assistant will also help with outpatient specimen collection and processing, inoculate microbiology specimens onto primary media, and process specimens for referral testing. The position is full-time and involves 8-hour night shifts. Requirements
- California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License (Upon hire)
- California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License (Upon hire)
